Every device, one repair-ready link.

Give each product a permanent, scannable link that resolves to the right governed view — owner, independent repairer or regulator. Ready for the US right-to-repair patchwork and anti-parts-pairing rules, with manuals, parts and tools reachable in one tap — no login. Try it → tap through the three audiences.

Why now

Right-to-repair is now law in a growing list of states.

The US patchwork keeps widening, and anti-parts-pairing rules are arriving. Brands must give “fair and reasonable” access to manuals, parts and tools — usually via a persistent link with no login. One resolver-linked identity per unit answers it, and aligns with the EU’s repairability push at the same time.

The state patchworkNew York (2023), California (2024, items $50+), Minnesota (2024), Connecticut & Texas (2026), Oregon (2027) — each with its own scope and deadlines.
Anti-parts-pairingColorado’s parts-pairing ban (January 2026) forbids software locks that stop genuine replacement parts working — and it is spreading.
“Fair and reasonable” accessManuals, spare parts, diagnostics and tools must be available to owners and independent repairers — typically via a persistent QR / link, no login.
EU alignmentThe same resolver-linked identity carries the EU Digital Product Passport and repairability/spare-parts data — one build serves both regimes.
How it works

A permanent repair link, in three steps.

Print, laser-etch or tag it once — it resolves for the product’s entire service life.

1

Bind serial + model

Tie each unit’s serial and model to one resolver-linked identity, alongside your existing part numbers and BOM.

2

Mark the product once

A printed, etched or NFC anchor on the device — permanent, so the link keeps resolving long after purchase.

3

Resolve per audience

One scan routes owner, repairer and regulator to the right governed view — manuals, parts and tools with no login for repair.

Not a single-purpose tool

Powered by the same universal engine.

Right-to-repair runs on the identical GS1 Digital Link resolver behind the whole DSR Protocol platform. Start with US repair readiness; grow into full EU Digital Product Passports, NFC anti-counterfeit and richer owner engagement — on the same one link.

See it on your device.

Book a 20-minute demo and we’ll resolve a live repair record — owner, repairer and regulator from one permanent link — on a product like yours.

DSR Protocol is a software platform. This page describes how the platform is designed to support US right-to-repair obligations and related EU repairability requirements; it is not legal advice, and customers remain responsible for their own compliance. State law names, scopes and dates are drawn from public 2026 sources and are still shifting — re-confirm before external use. DSR provides the resolver and identity layer; it does not itself supply parts, manuals or tools.
